Take Part
in Counting Culture

Counting Culture has not launched yet — but it is coming soon.

This six‑week campaign will open in mid‑April 2026, and we want everyone working in or connected to the creative and cultural sector in Greater Essex to have the chance to take part.

To make sure you don’t miss the launch, please sign up to our mailing list(strongly recommended), or follow Made in Essex on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn (coming soon).

How the Campaign Will Work

Campaign Start: Week commencing 13 April 2026
This is when the submission form will go live and you will be able to share your response in writing, video, photo or audio. There will be an option to share confidentially if needed.

Campaign End:Sunday 24 May 2026
This is the final date to take part before submissions close.

Sector Gathering: Week commencing 13 July 2026
A county‑wide event where early findings will be shared and the sector will help shape next steps.

What You Will Be Asked

When the campaign opens, we will ask one key question:

A new Mayor = new opportunities. What does the creative sector need most to do more for Greater Essex? And why?

Your submission will feed directly into:

  • The Counting Culture Prospectus

  • Engagement with the new Mayor and Combined County Authority

  • Our July sector event

  • Future cultural strategy and advocacy
